Fiddler on the Roof Jr.

Overshadowed's theater camp participants will present an adaptation of the Tony Award winning musical Fiddler on the Roof.  In the little Russian village of Anatevka, a poor dairy farmer named Tevye struggles to provide for his family of five daughters.  Confronted with changing values and growing anti-Semitism, Tevye clings to the traditions of his tight-knit Jewish community.  As each of his eldest daughters challenges the custom of arranged marriage, Tevye must try to keep his family intact while the world he knows unravels around him.

Featuring such classics as "If I Were A Rich Man", "Sunrise, Sunset", and "Matchmaker, Matchmaker", this musical cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality, and religion with charm, warmth, honesty, and universal appeal.

Fiddler on the Roof Jr. is sure to entertain audiences of all ages!
